Finishes
The lever begins as a squared bar and stays one for most of its length. A single turn at the neck is the only concession to the hand, and it is placed where the grip actually falls rather than where a drawing would put it.
Cast in one piece, machined, then finished by hand. Unlacquered brass is supplied raw so that it darkens with use. The rose is sprung and fixes from behind, so nothing on the visible face is a fastening.
